Master, you work on the basic misapprehension that Wilder is any fucking good. Its a race between European promoters to get the first one in to beat him, and then get another big 'euro' fight on the back.

Wilder is not that bad that he would lose to a Tyson Fury that is not fighting fit after only 2 fights.

Fury must get seasoned and that takes time.

Fury is rushing it for no good reason.

Let AJ v Wilder slug it out and by that time Fury gets some fights under his belt and ready for the winner.

Don't agree, and I'm no Fury fan, Fury can do the same to him as he did to Vlad, and at half pace because Wilder is no Vlad. Bully, lean, move and just generally let Wilder miss all night and make a twat of himself. If Warren pulls it off Fury will win and be Warrens bestest mate for years. You heard it here first.

Won't happen. Wlad is tentative whenever he isn't forced to actually fight. Wilder is way more aggressive. Both AJ and Wilder would present even a peak (whatever that is considering he's only really delivered a top class performance once in his career) Fury with very different problems. The notion that Fury can just return from a 3 year hiatus and school Wilder is just ridiculous.

Wow... in the who beats up who in the Wilder-AJ conversations, I can understand the back and forth with some picking Wilder and others picking AJ.

    But Fury??!??

Damn..... I've NEVER seen a fighter get more mileage (or his fans) out of a single fight. Fury got in Wlad's head and beat a "Bambi" Wlad who threw 4 punches a round the entire fight...... then promptly self-destructed over the next 3 years.
I normally don't bet, but I'll take some of that action.

Totally agreed. Fury was never that impressive his whole career. He beats Wlad easily then everyone talks as if he is this god of boxing. I’m not convinced that Fury would beat AJ or Wilder without the layoff. With the layoff and getting fat, no way he beats them.

So this fight is supposed to happen in America? This doesn't make any sense at all from Fury's point of view.

Does anything make sense in Fury Land? This won’t happen, and in a few months time, everybody will realise how pathetic this “Marketing campaign” is.

Exactly what I said this morning to my mate, you have 4 absolute clowns Fury, Wilder, Warren and Shirley, they have told the joke now we just need to wait for the punchline

The smart move for both guys is for Wilder to defend against Breazeale, then take the AJ fight in April. Fury can get a couple more step ups, 1 in Nov, another in Mar/ Apr. From there it's wide open really. It depends on what some of these other guys like Whyte, Miller, Ortiz and Parker do as well.

I think that's a marinating we can put up with, realistically.

Fury talks a lot of crap, but deep down this is probably what he really has in mind. You don't go diving into the deep end of the pool after taking a couple of baby steps in the wading pool. Either way he loses to either Wilder or AJ.

IMO the sun is already setting on Ortiz. Miller doesn't impress me at all, and to me will be a non-factor before too long. Not champion material. Whyte is definitely in the picture, and Parker, with a few adjustments, should be in there as well.
