Cars are not worth paying a fortune, they depreciate in value as soon as you drive away in it.
Best value for money are near new and you use them for many years.

They are costly to run too. Petrol, insurance, MOT, road tax, service, recovery cover and general wear and tear all add up over the years which people do not factor.Completely agree. Company cars are out of fashion here now, they are taxed more as the government wants to put a stop to it.

]I walk miles on foot to the supermarket until the laundromat and I take the bus and the train and the subway and I have not driven a car since 1997 and I have saved over $300, 000 US Dollars over the past 21 years on car insurance, gasoline, car payments, registration, repairs oil changes and regular maintenance license fees and renewals Etc
