No
it true and what if u were in a horrible accident and left a vegetable. Or you were in one of those locked in comas where u are aware but can’t move or communicate. All the possibilities are quite frightening. When you look at it from certain points of view death does have its benefits
The ones who are afraid of this life are in the one group but the ones who are thinking about the next life or in the other group
I suppose some deal could be struck where u work for a company for like a thousand years and then get an endless pension
Crazy thing is it's the ones who remain that have to decide both. I don't mean not ending in some spiritual sense so much as a person being such a potential force while here, that whole living the life thing.
Also circumstances of a death. Watching someone die slow is a gut punch. You relive the entirety of their life at the same time you're just wanting to say goodbye for their sake. Man what a cheery thread.
bottom line..embrace the day. There are no guarantees.
Danny is a striking story.
Same here fenny, had a young friend die when I was 7 or 8. He had a terminal illness but at that I didn’t really grasp what it meant. That was very strange. Ten years later my best mate got killed in a car crash, that one really hit me, at 17 or 18 who is thinking about death
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
