That is just not true. In fact it is a blatant lie. Because Jones is a blatant liar. The majority of the posters here, like 85 to 90% realise the left and right are two sides of the same coin. Meanwhile Jones is an ultra right wing propagandist under the thumb of an ultra Conservative president. Trump is the dictionary definition of the neo Liberal elite.

By no kind of measure can you pretend that yourself, Miles, Lyle, Walrus etc are anything but ultra conservatives. You certainly are not political atheists. The majority of the forum are though and you can probably include Tito and Alpha to that.

That is not a problem but call a spade a spade mate.

Miles just like Peterson you cannot pretend to be a liberal, or old school labour, or any of that soundbite bollocks you like to play with, when everything you talk abut and stand for and drone on and on about repeatedly for many, many, many, many years are touchstones of conservatism.

Plenty of left wing Labour supporters support tighter border controls on immigration but you have to make it into a virtue signalling exercise like a typical millennial, getting on your soapbox and deriding anyone who does not think like you. Dividing the world into Gandalf and then all the rest of the world. The same with this endless tirade against single mothers and insisting black people and immigrants are the problem and those bloody interfering continentals, rushing to attach yourself to anything you think improves your sense of superiority whilst not actually investing any time of effort in to doing anything about it. You just sound like the 2018 version of Blair's new Labour, all soundbite and no content.

Miles I can’t read what beaner wrote. He had to add my name at the beginning of this with u and Lyle as always labeling my political views when he scolds others for labeling him. Miles, I fear if I read anymore of his bullshit I will jump off a local highway. Notice when u r laying low not saying anything to or mentioning beaner he still needs to come sideways with some bullshit. If he were a CO he would probably catch a frag. But alas miles, it takes all kinds, modulators please keep your bean on a leash

When he rants like that he is not worthy of a meaningful response An ultra conservative does not believe in redistributive taxation or nationalised utilities. Like I say he needs to get to the chemist and pick up his seroquel and get some laxatives to go along with it. Mental.

Gaslighting is not really going to work young man. What is strange is that somebody who used to tell us all he was bi-polar and actually using those drugs seems to think suggesting I take an anti-psychotic is a replacement for engaging with the subject of the thread. I though you liked Orwell or is that only as a tool to ridicule and mock the masses with? The Wall that Waters is most famous for is alive and well and here you are trying to erect it between your cabal and the rest of the forum.

He is correct you are "asleep..anaesthetised" I think maybe living South Korea has made you " uncomfortable....to see anything real."

When in the article it says

For Waters the root of this antipathy, in the US at least, lies in part from its poorly funded public education system. In Waters’ view the reason for this lies in the political establishment’s desire to keep an ignorant and compliant population.

“They want to keep the electorate ignorant, and mindless, and unthinking, and malleable, and pliable, and very open to the use of consumerism and propaganda to keep them under control, to maintain the Orwellian notion of the sheep and whatever.”

That is what Trump is doing with his twitter nonsense and carefully managed opposition. It is what InfoWars is bragging about and yet you are lapping it up thinking you are more woke than the everyday fella here on the forum who can see right thru it. You are willingly giving up personal control and signing up to the idea of sides against each other.

You are a very silly boy Wally. You seem to think that because many people in America call those who voted for Trump Nazis and because some idiots in the UK say they a similar thing thing about those that voted for Brexit, calling them racist, that I must think exactly as they do, It's not true though it's just a way of you refusing to engage with anyone who does not agree with you. I have friends from the old school left who voted for Brexit and there are people here like Master and I am sure many others, from the centre left and right, who I totally respect who also voted for Brexit. Even Al, whose reasons I may not agree with has my respect for actually going out and putting his money where his mouth is. I am pretty sure Grey voted for Trump and I class him as a friend and absolutely respect his decision in doing so.

For me Trump is a conservative and you don't get much more establishment than that. It does not disqualify him from being a valid choice any more than somebody from the left.
