Baranchyk is always fun but Taylor is too polished for him.

It’s true. Having Prograis and Taylor fight (obviously it’s not a foregone conclusion) at this point in their respective careers is pretty rare. There will be no marinating. I’m super excited for the rest of both of the tournaments.

I think Taylor-prograis is fairly close to a sure thing, just can’t see either losing their next fights. Not really sure what Martin made the trip for. maybe he would have been stopped earlier if he engaged, but it didn’t seem like he had any intention of winning.

Happy for Donaire as he’s such a nice guy, obviously that’s no way anyone wants to see a fight end though. I do think the commentary wasn’t giving him credit for looking good and being in the fight, was totally unfamiliar with Barnett beforehand I’ll admit, but it looked as though Donaire was closing the gap a little bit, he obviously still has pop and looked a far cry from most any fighter we’ve seen move back down in weight at the tail end of career. He did better in the 3rd and 4th than he had the first two, i was quite interested to see if he could keep coming on before the freak ending.
