Think it's also interesting to note that there is no VADA testing for this fight.

Errol Spence Jr v Mikey Garcia: IBF world welterweight title bout set for March
Four-weight world champion Mikey Garcia will move up two weight divisions to take on IBF world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr on 16 March.
Garcia, 30, still holds the WBC title in the 135lbs lightweight division and will move to 147lbs to face Spence Jr.
Spence Jr, 28, won his title from Britain's Kell Brook in May 2017.
"Floyd Mayweather did it all the time, fighting bigger guys," said Garcia. "He did it with skills. There's more to boxing that brute power."
Garcia has held world titles at featherweight, super featherweight, lightweight and super lightweight, amassing a record of 39 wins from 39 bouts.
A unification bout with WBA lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko had been rumoured before a March meeting was confirmed with fellow American Spence Jr in Arlington, Texas.
Garcia now claims he is pleased some are choosing to write him off because of the weight jump, with a number of people on social media pointing to a notable size difference when the two fighters posed head to head.
"That's why I took this fight," he added. "That's what I want. Once I do this I will prove to everybody that I am a better fighter than people expect. These kind of victories will open the eyes of doubters."
Spence Jr has a record of 24 wins from 24 bouts, 21 via stoppage.
Should Garcia win, he would join the likes of Mayweather, Tommy Hearns, Manny Pacquiao, Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar de la Hoya in winning world titles across five weight classes.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Well I’m giving Mikey props for taking the fight in the first place. Like everyone else , I fancy Spence, but I just hope Garcia gives a good account of himself and it’s competitive.
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
Yea I saw one where they had photo shopped Mikey's face onto it
Hearing that there was a push for VADA testing but was turned down by the A side. Question is who is the A side? Mikey's the bigger name, but Spence's name is first on the promotional stuff. Mikey's already enrolled with VADA with his WBC belt, does that mean Spence turned down the testing?

I think Garcia still holds the WBC belt and is enrolled with VADA but as this fight is for the IBF title I don't think Spence has to comply.
I also question Lara withdrawing from the WBC and VADA testing, he could have easily fought for another bodies belt without requesting to be removed, happens all the time.

I've clearly not been paying close attentionand was under the impression VADA was wbc centered but had a hand in the other bodies also. Seems pretty easy to skirt then yeh.
Laras people sound like they're disputing the wbc version of what's going on. Hey how about Lara steering for your bwoy Castano though? Huge step up and great style clash if that title match comes off. But Lara hasn't faced that kind of speed in years, if ever.
The WBC has the clean boxing program which works hand in hand with VADA, I believe the WBA also has a program with VADA. I just don't understand why Lara's team requested to be removed from the WBC ratings, just because they are targeting another bodies belt. It seems kind of unheard of. If he won the other bodies belt, the WBC would the automatically remove him from their ratings. Something doesn't add up there.
Yea I hope the Castano fight comes off. Lara impressed the hell out of me in the Hurd fight, so he is still a force in my opinion. It will be Castano's biggest challenge to date. I think he brings all the necessary tools to get the job done, but I'm far from confident.
