I am not sure how he has been made to look a fool really. Wilder comes across as unhinged? And Fury doesn't? Wilder is just too nice when he could easily have run Fury down over becoming so obese he was at serious risk of a heart attack, for testing positive, for his drug use, for Fury's own lunatic rantings, he just avoided most of that and declared that he was going to eat Fury which to be fair would not be a good thing to do as he would be bound to end up with blocked up arteries himself. That was not sensible, but otherwise, it was Fury up there unable to sit down because he drank too much coffee or something.

It's simple really. Some guys are good at talking and some aren't. I've seen them face-to-face and Wilder can't hold a candle to Fury talking-wise. He reverts to his "Bronze Bomber" shouts because he's left with little to say. It's nothing bad, nor is it a preclude of what's to come. I still think Fury is writing checks his ass won't be able to cash. But in talking contests it's no contest.

Fury is better at talking smack and I would agree with that. I also think when Wilder does it it seems kind of forced and not really his thing. He has to try and hype a fight and cannot do a Mike Tyson impression well. I don't think he comes across as unhinged at all though, whence me finding it all rather forced. Fury on the other hand likely is a bit unhinged and that's no criticism. I don't really regard it as a verbal competition and find these conferences more pantomime than anything else.

If you have done the work in the gym and are confident in your abilities then you know in yourself that is likely more than enough, especially if you are undefeated, stay in shape, and have recently proven you can fight when up against it. Fury seems the one more desperate to get under Wilder's skin whilst Wilder has simply let a lot of things slide. For instance, Fury is dressing sharper but it is just hot air really isn't it to make a song and a dance about it? Doesn't matter really and if Fury was so enamored with his clothes why the desperate need to take them all off? Couldn't that wait for the weigh in? Isn't that unhinged? Flouncing about topless at the very end of a press conference?

I hope he is going to shave some of that beard off too as you wouldn't want that rubbing in the eyes. He should have an X marked on it too to add to the pantomime. Fury is all pantomime. The most likely person to be knocked out is Fury. By his own uppercut. Wilder is a bit soft and just doesn't throw out lines that way, but if talking makes you the best then why was Malignaggi never P4P number 1? Words can only take you so far in boxing. In the real world of course it is a different story.

Miles doesn't think Wilder comes across as unhinged.

Well observed Rocco. When Wilder goes down the Broner/Mayweather/Tyson/Taylor route I will concede that he is unhinged. The odd rant about eating an opponent is rather mild all things considered.

Fury - here we have a 6'9 lumbering limbo dancing galoot with average power , he has a good engine but isn't pretty to watch.

Wilder - Fine condition , he lacks the boxing basics , however this drunken Giraffe of a fighter carries Dynamite in either hand.

This is likely to be an awful spectacle for the paying public.

It is a pickem fight for the simple reason that both have padded records bar a few name fighters.

If I had to make a pick , I will go for Wilder via 5 round KO.

By that time of the fight the referee will likely stop the fight , to save the audience from further punishment.

Miles will eventually concede to Wilder being unhinged.

I never concede. I follow them all the way to the asylum pleading their sanity.
