It snowed so heavily in Europe a couple of weeks ago that the weight would cause the roof of houses to fall in. Owners had to move this snow and some died in accidents doing just that.

To they build more flat type roofs. Not saying that doesn’t happen here but even with a good 5 foot blizzard I don’t hear it a lot. People do need to hire companies to do removal after big stormsOriginally Posted by Master

These houses had flat roofs but at a slight angle which should make it easier for the snow to melt or be moved.To they build more flat type roofs.
