Well I was quite surprised watching this.
1. It was entertaining, not gruesome, better than most boxing matches i've seen this year, the sheer fact of bare knuckles with no pathetic boxing politics - promoters, TV networks, alphabets, hangers on, silly fan boys, etc made it feel pure not nasty.
2. Paulie clearly won unless pro boxing rules/scoring wasn't being used. He totally controlled the first three rounds (ring generalship), the other guy was clearly not in his league, anyone who scored it against Paulie is the type of fan who calls Floyd a "runner" or says things like "you have to rip the title from the champion, not just outbox him."
