I’m not a big fan of McGuigan as a person, but I feel so sorry for the guy. He and his family must be completely heartbroken . Burying your kids has got to be the worst thing that can ever happen to a parent.

Very sad indeed she beat cancer as a 11 year old but it came back terrible to see your children to pass before you.
I see it all the time it's terrible.

Thats tough. Azumah Nelson lost his wife to cancer in the 90s, much sadder when an actual top featherweight of the era has to deal with hardship right McGuigan was the ultimate flash in the pan. Couple of decent wins, world class for roughly a year, retired on a loss before he was 30. If it werent for his being From the Irish border during that time, he would have been forgotten immediately.
