Good list, except I'd have Holmes lower and Foreman higher.
Don’t disagree with you at all. Mine is dependent on my mood that day and I can see a solid case for moving any name on that list, with the exception of maybe Ali and Louis. I accidentally tried to respond to you and hit the wrong/alert button. Hope I don’t get you in any drama or anything, and apologize for hitting the wrong button!
No worries friend. Lately I come in here with a glasses and mustache disguise so I can talk about boxing also.![]()
And yes..... it depends on my mood with me also as far as heavyweight all time lists. Totally subjective and all lists are cool (expect that one from Boxrec making the rounds on another thread).
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I am a big Tyson fan, but I’m ranking Wlad higher because of his extended time on top. The losses to Corrie Sanders and Lamont Brewster Burt him a little, but I just feel that he was dominant over a much longer time than Mike. Mike was the youngest heavy champ ever and had some highlight reel knockouts, but his prime was very short in comparison and he lost some ugly fights vs Evander and Buster Douglas.
I know some will say he was past his prime by those fights, and they may be correct, but I think he would have lost to those guys, ESPECIALLY Evander, at any point of his career. As you pointed out, however, this is all purely speculation/opinion/subjective.
i must clarify my post, tyson does not make my top 50 p4p and the next 50 would also be a struggle. at heavy he makes the top 20
