I agree there should be no 2nd referendum. Labour should make a deal and get it through parliament. The end.

What nonsense is it to ask the population again? There is no need.

How can Labour make a deal? At this point they are unelectable. And what kind of deal? The bulk of the party wants to remain and they have an agenda of a 2nd referendum.

Meanwhile the Lib Dems who have overtaken them are committing treason.

It is a scary, scary world when Boris Johnson leading the Tories seems like the man of reason. I haven't changed. I have always argued that leave means leave and it looks as though that is the way it is heading.

It's for the best to just get it done. Then people can decide at the ballot box what they think of it. If it is a disaster then surely Labour will cruise right in when there is an inevitable election. Then if it is not a disaster and a recession is quickly managed then Britain is in a very competitive place. I sense the latter.

Boris a man of reason? You really are out of touch. The man is a serial liar, opportunist, adulterer, and disloyal a person you would ever going to meet.

You wouldn’t feel good if people said that about you without ever meeting you. Maybe he is a real nice guy and would invite you to dinner and talk boxing

"The UK is facing an unprecedented crisis, but instead of behaving like a strong leader, Johnson is once again resorting to the self-serving cowardice that was his trademark move during the 2019 General Election.

At this point we should obviously be having daily briefings from the government, but instead we've got a Prime Minister in hiding, government communication through selective leaking to favourable journalists (like Robert Peston, who was the one who broke the now seemingly abandoned 'herd immunity' story), important ministerial statements issued behind newspaper paywalls (Matt Hancock's coronavirus article was originally posted so only Daily Telegraph subscribers could read it!), completely contradictory statements from one day to the next (Hancock now saying that 'herd immunity isn't part of the plan after the Tories just spent 2 days vehemently defending the idea), and the continuation of their unbelievably complacent 'dither and delay' tactics while almost all other countries are adopting strong containment measures.
I still really struggle to fathom how millions of people actually concluded that such a lazy, dishonest, incompetent, and disgustingly elitist coward of a man would make a good leader for our nation."...
