Double the rate

Now, Baltimore has a property tax rate of $2.249 per $100, more than twice as high as any in the state. That high rate is among one of the many factors holding the city’s population from growing again. It has lost 39% of it's population since 1950, including Anne Arundel, Montgomery and Prince George’s.
