    I think one fo the best way to prove the Earth is a sphere is how the Earth perfectly blocks out the sun and the moon which are also spheres during lunar and solar eclipses.

    One fascination thing is how the distance of the sun moon and Earth is just so perfect in proportion to there sizes that they each will perfectely block out each other exactly during eclipses, both solar and lunar.
