With the election over and Brexit looming what about Austerity I wonder.
There cuts never worked they could not balance the books why because every year the cost of living goes up everything is more expensive not rocket science is it.
Everytime the Tories are in power they cut they are so predictable nothing changes.
Services cut to the bone everything on the cheap no investment.
I wonder will they spend on public services and the NHS or is it just false promises time will tell don't hold your breath.!

I do a lot more in life than feed fish, holidays, restaurants , fine wine, wonderful family and friends etc. ( for the record I do have some pretty expensive Koi carp in my garden ).
This one is my favourite its around 15 lbs ive had it 10 years.

All in all I'm pretty happy with my lot in life, seems you are bitter for some reason, however that's your business.
I love life and i love Saddo boxing, life is good and we all have christmas to look forward to.

I had no idea that you had that hobby/those pets Al. I well knew of the wine and food interests, holidays etc but had no clue about the fish and that whole deal. I find that interesting, never met many folks who do the whole koi pond deal personally.

When done correctly they are very aesthetically pleasing to a landscape.

I am not bitter. Life is way too short to be bitter about things outside our control, I just give a shit about how the country is run and people less fortunate than myself. (not saying that you don't, though I do wonder sometimes) And personally for me the last 9 years of the Tories has made my life shitter and unnecessarily complicated as it has for many small businesses and many disable people too. (They have literally taken away opportunities for people to become self sufficient.)

I knew you kept Koi because I don't really forget things and I actually listen when posters give insights into their lives. We have a Japanese Maple and water feature in our back garden. Put up the Christmas decorations yesterday for the Mrs and Grandkids.

That sounds lovely, we've geared up for Christmas as well...tree, leg lamp, wreaths, all that mess I even put some cider on the range the other day, house smelled amazing. In all sincerity I do wish your family (nuclear and extended) the full blessings of the season.

This is just a bit of debate on what Austerity has done to the Country in our eyes .
As I work for the local authority I have seen first hand what damage the cuts have done.
