Bellew was on a 10 fight win streak heading into the Usyk fight. Look at the run Makabu has been on since the Bellew fight. That Bellew would have beaten Chisora.

I have been a fan of Usyk's for awhile and have said often that he will have success at Heavyweight, but I feel he has stagnated a bit, with his injury delay and now possibly facing a shop worn Chisora, it all seems a little like treading water. His team should be forcing the mandatory and if Joshua declines, then Parker for the vacant title should be the target. Usyk has beat better heavies than Chisora in the WSB, he has already faced full blown Heavyweights.

This will be a complete mis-match.

Usyk has faced shit Heavyweights and hasn't looked impressive at all since winning the WBSS.

    Chisora will give him problems.

I'd look forward to this one.

Good match up if it comes off.

Hang on, he’s only fought 1 heavyweight. He’s entitled to feel his way into a division with much bigger guys isn’t he? If he went straight into a title shot, everyone would be slagging him off saying he hasn’t earns the shot.
I’m not sure if Usyk will make it at HW. But at least this fight will tell us one or two things.
I don’t mind the fight, although I would’ve preferred Usyk fought Whyte.

Holyfield had 7 fights at heavyweight before facing Buster for the title. Just saying like. It's a testament to Uysk he's not interested in fucking about, straight in the deep end

Chisora is a handful for any heavyweight, he's almost certain to be there for 12 rounds and always winging.

Uysk always starts slow. Everyone holds their own with him early doors as he gradually goes through the gears ramping it up. In the old days they would have said - "he likes to have a look." Anyone expecting him to be some exciting heavyweight killer are going to be disappointed. He's a savvy boxer not banger.

I am of the opinion that Usyk needs to fight more at the new weight and earn his title fight. I think Chisora will be a good test. He needs to fight against fringe contenders and gain some experience of handling these heavier men.

I do not see Usky ultimately beating AJ or Fury who are just too big for him but think he could handle Parker and Whyte.

On the greatest source of all news information, Facebook :S, Joseph parkers posts a picture of himself and usyk saying happy birthday usyk and see you Soon...

Hope they will be going at it for the vacant title.

I will agree that he has stagnated a bit since his injury. I’m really hoping that this is his last tune up fight at HW because he can’t waste anymore time. He needs get in there before the giants start falling and he loses his opportunity.

Yup, this matchup means they refused a Title fight because they didn’t want to fight Parker. Basically no risks before the Joshua payday, sad

As much as we would all like every fighter to fight the best all the time, I’m willing to give Usyk leeway for this fight if he really does think he gets AJ next. If he can’t though, I agree that he doesn’t get anymore excuses.

I'm not up to date with the title situation, I thought if Joshua fights either Pulev or Usyk 1 of the titles would be vacated. There is also talk of Parker fighting in the UK in February, he was also involved in failed negotiations with Chisora over a lengthy period. So without all the information I can't accurately say where these guys are at and what is happening.

    Usyk will basically retire Chisora.

Chisora made Agit Kabayel look like Muhammad Ali, so useless he is against boxers.

    Usyk would comfortably beat Chisora.
