This middleweight is trained in the D'amato system and managed by Steve lott, he has basicly the old team Tyson but hasnt been able to replicate anything like the success Mike had with that team or style.

He has been stopped in one round by john duddy and was unlucky to get stopped late in his last fight, he is exciting but doesnt relax enough to use the head movement properly, he just sort of wades in, which makes for better viewing but it would be nice to see him come through his next fight with Kelly Palvik and gain some confidence then settle down.

Imagine a fighter with Mikes style in the middle weights today, it would bring back a bit of excitment, a bit like Nigel Benn.

I dont know much about Palvik but after a quick look on his record its littered with old, worn and smaller fighters, he may get a surprise when a young strong guy with power starts tearing away at him
