AJ did avoid Wilder and was more responble for the fight not happening.
The fight has gone now and I can not see them ever facing one another.

We'll probably end up with an all British showdown to unify the title just like we wanted..... held in Saudi Arabia...
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Wilder is still a beast to reckon; he's definitely not done and I think that a fight with Joshua could be all fireworks. He has to start working more with his jab though, and I think he needs to focus on his mental a bit more; he did look pretty "I am done" after the third round and hasn't tried anything significative to turn the tables, if you ask me.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Fury/AJ is the fight now. If Wilder could get himself back together it would be good in the future. But, Wilder seems like the type that will jump right back in with Tyson and that might be the end of the best version of Wilder.
I've dogged Wilder for years but really didn't like seeing him take that much punishment. He had zero plan or answers and think he needs to retool and ffs get away from that whorish hype of 'the most devastating right hand in modern boxing'. It was getting just silly. Take some time and explore what just basically happened back to back with Fury. That said I'd rather have Joshua and Wilder over Joshua v Pulev but seriously can't see Joshua clamoring for Wilder right away nor should he. Credit to Joshua he came back and revamped his approach and improved skill set, it's Wilders turn. AJ v Fury is the fight that must happen hands down.
deontay has never been any good. he has power & has been matched safely. the tyson he fought in the rematch is the closest to a peak worldclass fighter he has fought & we saw what happened. i would like to see all these guys fight each other but aj bombs out deontay

Ahh... once again the voice of reason.
TBH, any of us claiming Joshua ducked Wilder OR Wilder ducked Joshua is merely speculating...... nothing more.
I merely stated (and will continue stating) that when Fury swooped in and took the fight Joshua hadn't been capable (or willing) of making..... it just didn't look good on Joshua.
Had Fury swooped in and fought AJ instead, Joshua fans would've redoubled their claims that it was Wilder ducking AJ all along.
Who gives a shit at this point who ducked who?
The fact remains that AJ doesn't "need" Wilder anymore, and will never have to find out if he could indeed beat Wilder like Fury did.
No fanboy-ism....... just facts.
No matter what either of them does, Wilder Joshua is still a shoot out. Wilder will do what Wilder does and AJ is more susceptible to it. The flip side is that Wilder might get hammered worse than he did against Fury up against a legit super heavy with power.
Always 50/50

Wilder may never be the same again a busted eardrum takes some recovery remember he has to take punches to the head also his shield of invincibility has a flaw ! AJ lost but regained his title difference AJ did not take a beating were Wilder did interesting. This moment in time Fury is the man so Fury can call the shots undefeated really you have to say many great fights to be made.!
AJ himself may beg to differ.
In any case, I'm reading it may not have been a busted eardrum but a cut inside his ear. Don't know how the hell that happens... but it did.
Still... the beating was wicked, and Wilder needs to take some time off, plus come back with a tuneup.
Nah mate, it doesn’t work like that. Wilder’s demands were a piss take. He was offered 5 TIMES MORE than he had ever earnt.
When people like you say “just pay him what it takes” , I wonder if you would do that with your money?
Life ain’t like that.
None of us like this ”A side, B side” business, but that’s life. Joshua was bringing all the money making to the table and he’s expected to give Wilder more than what he’s worth? Nah.
