No, you are not alone. Lennox was a great champion but not a good commentator as say Paulie.

For some reason I find him more bearable with PBC than when he was with HBO. Maybe because he's with Joe Goosen and Brian Kenny now who make me feel like some greasy close talker car salesman is pushing a 'just like new' 1988 Chevrolet Chevette on me.

That colonel bloke is pretty dire as are virtually all current American commentary teams. Maybe it is just me but I think for many Brits their style and content is just skin crawlingly bad.

I might be alone on this, but I miss Jim Lampley's commentating. He was a LOUSY blow-by-blow guy (and could be as biased as they come), but was pretty good at being a commentator, I thought. I also enjoyed his Fight Game program.
Not for nothing he lasted so long.
Mora is terrible, Lewis is not far behind.

I agree. I don’t like Mora at all. He is worse. Not sure why he has a job. At least Lennox was a great champion with real name recognition. Mora’s claim to fame was being the winner of the contender. Some former fighters are good commentators but most are not. Paulie is natural at it. Ward took a little bit, but I think he is pretty good now.
