When we look at related deaths you also have to factor in the lock down would have slowed down the virus.

Not to rain on your parade here Master, but #1 A vaccine ain't coming anytime soon and #2 even if we do get a vaccine, by that time the virus will likely have mutated.


Looking at the revised models at present the death toll is similar to the flu WITH flu vaccine and that's with the folks in charge chalking everything they can up to Chinese Coronavirus sooooo I'm feeling like we can get back at our regular lives sooner rather than later.


I can tell you this, there's a lot of bullshit going on with certain governors here in the US Gov. Whitmer in Michigan is wielding power like a tyrant. She's banned people from buying seeds to grow their own food, she's banned people from travelling between properties they own, she's banned a drive in Church service where parishioners were in their own cars, she set the fucking state police on them.


The governor of my state has now limited any business to 20% of their capacity so going to get groceries will now be like trying to get into the hottest night club.

There is no evidence anywhere suggesting that Coronavirus deaths are similar to the Flu with Flu vaccine. You are comparing an average 0.1% death rate with something multiple times that number even if you don't believe the 3% estimate.

You should really analyze yourself more and wonder if people really get annoyed with your honesty or actually your dishonesty and inability to treat as human beings. I wonder sometimes if you do it because when people do get nasty back you and they eventually always do you then play the victim card. You are basically asking for it yourself, aren't you really?

Actually Lyle does have a fair point. Certainly here the death rate is closer to 2% and is mostly older people or people with existing conditions like a bloke waiting for a transplant. If you actually factor in health and age, the death rate is according to the WHO about 0.4% for someone of our age and factoring in country even lower here, so in that regard Lyle is not totally off base.

There were people like Merkel, virus experts etc, predicting the greatest of calamities and it just has not happened like that. Some of that is down to good governance as people have been shielded from getting it. Is Lyle closer to 1 million plus deaths or closer to the flu deaths? Take your pick and you know the answer.

It does not mean anyone wants anyone to die or wants anyone to not be cautious, but your view that people don't want to give things up is strange. Give what up exactly? I do not know what you are talking about once again. I pay my taxes and of course do not have to pay council tax and that is the way I like it.
