Most reasonable people will of course consider themselves moderates and most are.
Right now I'm not, because the left is completely irrational and actively trying to ruin the United States.
"I'm an afro-indigenous non-binary local organizer here in Portland organizing for the abolition of not just the militarized police state but also the United States as we know it"
Said to applause.

Couple of things right off the bat. The "non-binary" bullshit always throws me for a loop. No matter how hard they try to "mainstream" this non-binary CRAP......... AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.
I realize that's besides the point and it's the message that we're looking at here... but paraphrasing Renee Zellwegger in "Jerry Maguire"............. you lost me at "non-binary."
"Abolition the militarized police state". Hmmm... those are some mighty strong and dangerous words there, little Lilith. Not sure what all that entails, but it doesn't sound good.
"... but also the United States as we know it...." Ok. Again... shake of the head here. Abolition of the United States as we know it?? Or did she/he/it mean abolition of something else? Tough to make out what exactly the hell was meant there.
In any case, you should know by know Lyle....... that these societal struggles bring out all sorts of bugs out of the woodwork.
The problem is when we start grouping all people from the left with characters such as these.
We can't and we shouldn't.
Example: I abhor what happened to George Floyd and I will continue abhorring it. I will continue thinking it's way past due for some meaningful police reform and societal reforms on racial disparities.
And if you look around, you'll find many people maybe further to the left who share my same feelings.
That does NOT mean everyone left of center is a Lilith Sinclair.
I posted another thread on the death of John Lewis, as fine an American IMO as there has ever been....... and nary a beep about it.
Why is that?
I felt compelled to find out more about John Lewis and the events around the Selma marches..... and was downright APPALLED by the incredible racist brutality those poor folks had to endure.
In 1965, FFS.
So yeah... I'm a moderate and proudly so.
But I can also see how circus characters like little Lilith manage to keep the extremist fires burning.

You do realise how Cleese has completely explained you and your modus operandi since day one here and in the real world? This is how you have managed to strut around abusing forum members for fucking years now in some bizarre self justified belief that you are of course always morally right and fuck the rest of the forum if they don't agree with you. You have for years tried to convince us that you would be courteous and good natured and rational if it were not for all your enemies - noisy minorities groups, unions, Demonstrators, Welfare spongers, communists, upstart actors etc.

You have never seemed to be a moderate and certainly have never been that worried about being rational. The fact that there are outliers, odd people and soap boxers who are like yourself who you place on the far left, and are as usual making some far out weird demands, does nothing to change that. You are the only person i have ever some across that would use the term 'Actual Communists'as though to be anything but a hyper corporate capitalist was something akin to being demon possessed. You have way...way...way more in common with the nutjobs on the left you waste your life obsessing over than i think you will ever realise. The point Cleese was making went right over your head, but it pretty clearly marked you out as an extremist in his mind in your predictable targets and laughable fear of words. Words like Communist and Socialist, and this bizzarro idea that you get to define the world in opposition to yourself, as though you have the monopoly on truth and the answers on the only way to live life.
You are still doing it now assuming i must be the same as you only on the other side of the spectrum, but that is just hokum. I don't tear my hair out daily in exasperation on the way your people, the right wing populist corporate boot lickers, have handed our countries over to charlatans and snake oil salesmen who have treated British and American citizens with the same contempt you regularly save for other forum members. You are one sore winner if that is how you want to look at it. You have backed the bigoted morons in power now for years and yet you still can't help but go on and on about other politicians who either had the reins before or have never had them. You seem like you don't believe in any kind of personal responsibility.
Same old El Kabong bitching at the world because anyone not exactly like him must be an extremist.

Beanz has truly, Lyle, described you well.
He really got you on this: "and this bizzarro idea that you get to define the world in opposition to yourself, as though you have the monopoly on truth and the answers on the only way to live life."

Beanz is right, Lyle, you always portray yourself to be morally right, but the stadium is named after Reading's chairman Sir John Madejski. It is an all-seater bowl stadium with a capacity of 24,161 and is located close to the M4 motorway. Maybe check some of your info you are "referring to" Lyle, before posting.
