It looks like it will be at 130 instead of 135. If that’s true, it helps Santa Cruz a lot.

Thinks it's for both by the looks of it. Really screwy and feels like an insurance policy for Davis should he blow the 130 weight
which should be a side bet in itself. Good match regardless of being for two weight trinkets. They can take the belts and toss them in a smelter honestly, just ring the bell.
I'm a fan of these multi belt/ multi weight fights, although with this 1 there seems to behind reasons behind it. Can Davis even make 130 anymore without compromising himself in the ring? I feel that having both belts on the line is kind of a safe guard in case Davis blows the weight. They can then still have the 135 title up for grabs.
If Davis makes 130 and impresses it gives his team options where he doesn't have to step in against Loma. I don't see anything in Santa Cruz that will trouble Davis, unless he is drained. But having the incentive of being the 1st 5 division Champion from Mexico could be just the motivation needed to spring the upset.
They live, We sleep
The time away will tell me a lot about his level of discipline. He has the talent, developing skillset, power, speed.
None of that matters if he isn't disciplined enough to do what Floyd did his entire career; treat his body like a temple.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
I am not taking anything away from Davis but this is the most talented , busy fighter he is meeting to date. Even Davis wins, there's a chance that he will have a hard time because Leo enjoys boxing, it is not just a job to him.`
Boxer Gervonta Davis says he’s ‘Okay with getting sick with COVID’ to please his fans
Gervonta Davis is set to fight Leo Santa Cruz on Halloween
While most athletes are doing their best to avoid getting the coronavirus, boxing superstar Gervonta Davis has recently confessed that he has no fears about contracting the virus while fighting in front of a live audience on Halloween.
Recently, Davis told TMZ Sports that he’s looking forward to the upcoming match on October 31, when he will square off with Mexican warrior Leo Santa Cruz. And despite the current pandemic, he also says he refuses to live in fear of COVID-19 while doing what he loves.
“I’m just only speaking for me as a fighter – I’m okay with getting sick to please the fans,” Davis said.
“If I got sick and I find out that night, I’d be okay with it just knowing that I put on a great show. I did it in front of the fans. I did it for a cause. If I gotta take that hit, then you know I’ll quarantine by myself, and I did something great for the sport and things like that. I’m not saying I want that to happen but if that was to happen, I’m okay with taking that lick on the chin. Take that 14 days and stay healthy.”
Davis’ promoter Floyd Mayweather has been trying to put together a fight between him and Ryan Garcia for years. Yet, despite interest from both fighters, it has yet to happen. When asked if he was still open to a possible matchup with Garcia if he gets through Santa Cruz, the 25-year-old said he’s completely open to it.
“Me and Ryan could definitely happen next if both parties get on the same page and make the fight happen.”

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Davis needs to take this seriously as Lopez has embarrassed everyone by making his first defence against Loma.
Davis piles on the weight between fights and obviously isn’t following Mayweather dedication to the game.
