Very true too, his corner failed him knowing he was ktfo and surviving on instinct.

The ref knew he made a mistake by telling Madrimov afterwards that his push knocked him down. Even if that were true, couldn’t you just stop the fight as the ref? If Walker got hit and then pushed down, isn’t it in the refs discretion to stop the fight?

Remember when Brewster knocked down Wlad at the end of the round and Wlad couldn’t really get up? He stopped the fight even though the knockdown was after the bell.

These refs are too fragile to admit a mistake. I’ve seen it on multiple occasions.
