Just watched Herol v Grant. I do not remember this fight at all....
Had never heard of Grant till now. Looking at his record he seemed to be doing ok then just disappeared from the game.

That fight was on TV live from what I can remember and he retired after that fight o ly to make a come back years later. Could have been on as an undercard fight for Wharton v Fidel Castro Smith in Leeds.Originally Posted by Mark TKO

Totally forgot a crucial moment; last 2 rounds of Chavez-Taylor caped by the stoppage. Never been angrier at a ref than Steele. Some years later saw him fight around 1996, man reflexes gone, speech slurred. He was supposed to be an all time great. He had a few good fights after that, but JCC took a lot out of him.
