Crawford can’t get the good fights because all of the top welters are signed with PBC. I think the Spence fight will eventually happen though. Also, Pacquiao can do what he wants which is why he fought Thurman and not Crawford. Crawford has wanted to fight Pacquiao for years.
I am annoyed that he isn’t fighting the best welterweights out there, but I really think in this case, he is stuck.
Yep, maybe he is stuck, but that’s down to him. He made a business decision to sign with Arum while all the WW’s are with PBC. Now he’s gonna get the stick for it, that’s life I’m afraid.
And I actually believe that Crawford is the most complete fighter in the World.
But even I can’t call him P4P #1 because his record doesn’t prove it.
Terrible shame really , but Boxing politics is what it is!
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
For Ward ot pretend last night that Brook "Is the best available opponent out there" sums it up. Brook had huge potential but that ship has sailed.
Yes, very much like Junior Witter.
I thought Witter was excellent, awkward style, heavy hands, good engine and that we was better than Hatton. Never got the chance to prove it, got frozen out by the big names and made some odd career decisions. His prime quietly passed him by.
Brook seems to have gone the same way
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
What a complete mess.
No one is denying Crawford and his skillset but it’s pointless if he’s not using them against quality opponents.
Crawford is happy living in his top rank bubble being protected so he can keep his 0.
Shame there’s not one body like the UFC forcing these fighters to fight the best.
Let's not forget that Crawford is 33 years old. And his resume, as much as we enjoy watching him fight, is nothing to write home about.
The calls for him to step it up opponent-wise are only getting louder and louder.... and tougher to ignore.
