Yes, there was a period when they were closed. An emergency would have been problematic then!
I'm in Somerset and am an NHS patient, so at least my appointments are cheap! He is a pretty good dentist too, I have to say.

If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
I can remember my Grandad telling us he could tie our wobbly teeth to a door handle and slam the door to get them out if we didn't want to go to the dentistAlways made sure i went regularly from then but a year or so back dropped off my Dentists list after missing one appointment and have not yet been able to find a new one since.
I dug out my neighbor's tooth with a pick axe and rubber mallet for $25 and a six pack of Heineken. And yes, we wore masks.
My area they were closed for everything but emergencies. When they finally opened the restrictions were so tough it was like one person in the waiting room at a time it took months to get an appointment. Seems to be normalizing a little better now, seems like it’s only a month but if you want a day appointment I think it’s a little easier. I got this really weird procedure I might try. But I’ll need to hunt down an oral surgeon. I’m trying everything I can not to get a tooth pulled but it’s looking rather hopeless. The procedure sounds really weird. Weird usually means very expensive so I’m hoping it can wait till next year when my insurance resets. Besides that they do add an additional 10 bucks to your bill for all the ppe gear they are going through. Seriously they are decked out like surgeons. Luckily even during the lockdown they were treating emergencies I didn’t have to go but tooth pain can be a real bitch
