I didn’t take it as an attack or insult. I thought it was funny. I obviously made a mistake. I see the difference between busting balls and insults. Busting balls can be funny. And even though we aren’t buddies n shitz it’s much better if people here don’t need to walk on eggshells around each other. But yes I will often find myself explain “this is ball busting not an attack” so I’m not in with the “beanz, dia, brock and Tito crew” but it’s not like I wish anyone ill. Ya I miss miles because I always found him funny and we would always bust each other’s balls but I guess miles needed a break. I mean when I came back damn I was surprised at the nasty shit people said to me. Dia was on the warpath, bff beaner said I’m not fit for my job (my boss and HR feel differently so does everyone I work with) but whatever it’s not like I hold it against everyone you just forget that. Telling a veteran he fought in a war he didn’t start and questioned wtf he was accomplishing everyday on veteran day when he had spent hours on the talking to the family members of friends who never made it home really hit me. I’m talking to their kids now who years ago I could say “your dad saved my life he is a hero.” Today they have more questions, they want me to tell them about every patrol or protection detail I did with their father. They love the funny parts like how we would find stupid shit to argue about to keep our minds off of IEDs as we drive through hotspots. I told one kid I still owed his father 20 bucks from a poker game and I asked if I could send him a check because that 20 dollars I couldn’t pay back as the next he was killed, killed trying to help a local. Mind you this is probably the tenth time I payed him that twenty bucks but put the kid but each twenty In a frame and he says he has it with a picture of me and his father decked out in full gear smoking a cigarette together.

But I already said any comment like that would normally not effect me, it was just the day.
