Here is a small sample of Jerry’s solos. I certainly wouldn’t call him smoking or anything but I think he was underrated in the mainstream and damn he could play with feeling. He would hit some clunkers but when he was on his guitar could bring tears to your eyes

5:50 to 6:30 was from my guitarist point of view the most striking of the samples. Nice interesting playing in that segment in particular.
