It turns out (and you can check the Daily Mail link of all places to verify it) that actually the contentious claim that Coke was encouraging people to be less white was actually just one slide on a LinkedIn diversity training link that was never mandated as compulsory viewing at all. God knows why i would want to defend a corporation as sickly and poisonous as Coke but that claims made are much more about people ironically begging to have the right to be offended.

Look at the messenger and forget the naive idea that the messenger is not important, that is ridiculous when they are repackaging and twisting the news.

The phrase "Woke Coke got Caught" says it all. If you think a company that drains Indian villages of water in order to maintain their profit margin is, or ever has been morally responsible, you are a bit late with your very selective indignation.

I think you have misunderstood what I was saying. I have seen it said that Woke Coke made it mandatory, I have also seen a counter proposition. That is what I was saying in that regard. Either way, Woke Coke should not have been in the position it was in the first place. Nobody needs to be told to be less white. It is stupid and at best silly. People are there to work and that is it.

The thing is that it is not just Woke Coke. You have it across the corporate spectrum in the West with ordinary people being told how to think and frankly people can make up their own minds rather than be polluted at work where they are usually just fulfilling a work duty.

I totally agree that Coca Cola is an immoral corporation that hurts communities around the world. I have likely argued as much in the past. Their products cause illness and diabetes. It would do a lot of people a lot of good to simply not consume the product for health reasons let alone reasons of morality.

I disagree with a lot of things like this. I remember a compulsory training session on 'sexual harassment' that somehow became a feminist driven diatribe on the evils of men and how somehow that led to women getting into debt and turning to prostitution. Goodness knows what that had to do with anything. I guess it taught me not to buy what one cannot afford or else a Gigolo one would become.
