Remember many home town fighters get the decision weather just or in just it happens in this Country the USA etc it's boxing.
Burns probably should have got the decision, thing is he had had his chance by then, more than a few chances, and Crolla was still in the mix, if Burns would have won and Crolla lost then neither fighter would really be looking at any more big nights (probably)
It was a close fight, was it a good thing that Crolla won?

Ricky Burns beating Kevin Mitchell was a great performance. It had the England v Scotland rivalry and Burns was on fire that night and punched liked Hit Man Hearns that glorious night.
