I live in Guiseley which is famous because I live there I suppose.

It’s also the birthplace of the original Harry Ramsdens fish and chip restaurant which opened in 1928. Its now the Wetherby Whaler and the fish is amazing. I’ll be going tomorrow night - can walk there in about a minute. Not sure who on here might have been but you used to queue for ages in the 80s to get in. Coach trips were regular. In 1952 10,000 people queued for cheap fish and chips

Harry Corbett also played piano in the restaurant in the 30s and he is most famous for giving us Sooty the bear.

I can also see Ilkley Moor out of my back window and walk up there in about an hour. I know a song about that....

If this works this is the queue in 1952. My local pub in the background that’s still there

Some great Fish and Chips down here with so much fishing, but you are 55 miles from the sea mate

I am sure it is lush though.

Sooty and Soo get married. The marriage only lasted one week.
Soo is divorcing Sooty on the grounds that he's giving her the silent treatment.
