Guess Ortiz Jr is better described as legit contender should he dust off Kavaliauskas tonight. He’ll get all he can handle if Mean Machine is close to what he was two fights ago where he rocked and knocked down Bud Crawford. Have a feeling the brutal body work off the jab of Ortiz Jr will ultimately be his undoing but this March has all the makings of action as Ortiz looks for another breakout performance.

I think mean machine is in for a beating here, he looked pretty good v crawford but I think crawford totally underestimated him and thought he'd be no danger and he got caught early... Crawford took over pretty good once he recovered... I think Ortiz will be too quick and powerful and won't be caught complacent.

Have to love the temperament of Ortiz Jr. Save the fluff and twitter entitlement tirades we see a lot today . Line em up. Got hit a little v Hooker but behind that hammer jab just brutal. He's gonna learn something with Kavaliauskas

I agree I think Ortiz is pretty self aware I think he has the mentality to be a proper world champion... I suspect crawford might have fun with him though hopefully he's young enough to recover from a defeat.

Seemed ok to me, that's a few rounds either way, I wasn't scoring the fight though just watching... Maybe minorly suspicous they all went the same way but I think that might just be looking for problems... No complaint from me and I wanted Nicaraguan skeletor to win!

Cagey start but I think Ortiz looks pretty comfortable here, clearly wary of mean machine and he blocked a lot of punches and landed a good one... Good start for Ortiz even though not much happened.
