Actually what I've seen from Kessler I've been impressed. He dominated Mundine in his backyard despite Mundine giving probably his career best performance and he got rid of Beyer in 3 easy rounds. He was impressive over Eric Lucas well.Originally Posted by ross
Thats all the fights oh his I've seen but from those three he looks strong, and an intelligent fighter.
I fear he could be a far bigger handful for Calzaghe than you realise.
I'd also wager that if this fight does happen it will be because Kessler is willing to concede negotiations to Joe.
I can imagine Kessler coming to the UK to get his shot, I can imagine him agreeing to less money than Joe.
Joe, and I love him he's my favourite fighter, is so frustratingly obtuse when it comes to negotiations that he talks himself out of any big name fights.
I get the impression with Kessler that he is more willing to face the best than Joe is.
