I wonder about Ruiz being easy. Deontay can make anyone look easy if he lands a solid right, but Ruiz is skilled and a sleeper. I may bet on Ruiz for that fight- as dangerous as Wilder is, Ruiz is very skilled and the more complete boxer. This will be an interesting fight.

I agree with you here. Thing is, Ruiz can get clipped, but he has the ability to take a punch and get back up. AJ saw that. What if Ruiz gets back up after Wilder tags him, which he most likely will, and starts timing Wilder's wide open shots with the amazing handspeed he has?

Ruiz is not getting up if Wilder connects. If he miraculously does Wilder will not be careless as AJ was and finish the job when the time is right.

Have received advanced footage . But can see it a 50-50 fight. Tons of questions left on Wilder out of the Fury woodchipper(s). Ruiz is a very capable combo puncher up close. But my lean to Wilder is because Ruiz always gets clipped bad before a fight breaks out.

I actually hope this fight comes off, I'd be interested to see it. with what is around and available at the moment, it's a pretty good fight.
Despite being a fat fuck, (I can say that because I'm one) Ruiz has good movement , technique and quick hands for a HW. Things that have frustrated Wider in the past. And despite me giving Wilder plenty of criticism in the past, if he gets past a Ruiz that hopefully will be in a tiny bit of shape , that would be a good scalp for him .

I think Scott is really downplaying how quickly a guy waiting on the right and who doesn't move well going backwards can find himself in something different than what he's been accustomed to. Other than maybe Stiverne who really kept his hands in his pockets big time, Fury, Ortiz, even Washington had huge success trying to outbox Wilder for the most part. The last two eventually were lined up on the end. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the ability of Ruiz to disrupt what sounds like their plan to box Andy. He may very well look to force an exchange as crazy as it sounds. Bit of a suicidal approach one would think but he certainly isn't going to sit on the end trying to out jab, ot range Wilder. He'll have to get close of course but I actually think he gives Wilder an ugly ugly time with the combination punching. Ya just can't get away from the fact that in all reality this will be the 2-3 most talented fighter Wilder will have faced, ever. Also like Ruiz talking about the temple, that's pretty precise stuff. Hope they really get this worked out and set something firm.

Andy has that chopping side of the head punch that comes close to a rabbit punch, he can hurt you with that, he is good at getting that angle in a clinch, Wilder will have problems tying Andy up when Andy gets low. He can sneak it round Wilder's left ear, Andy knows how
