I agree with you here. Thing is, Ruiz can get clipped, but he has the ability to take a punch and get back up. AJ saw that. What if Ruiz gets back up after Wilder tags him, which he most likely will, and starts timing Wilder's wide open shots with the amazing handspeed he has?

. But can see it a 50-50 fight. Tons of questions left on Wilder out of the Fury woodchipper(s). Ruiz is a very capable combo puncher up close. But my lean to Wilder is because Ruiz always gets clipped bad before a fight breaks out.
Ruiz has good movement , technique and quick hands for a HW. Things that have frustrated Wider in the past. And despite me giving Wilder plenty of criticism in the past, if he gets past a Ruiz that hopefully will be in a tiny bit of shape , that would be a good scalp for him .
