didn't know he fought that fight with a bad hand....that changes everything....a rematch would be very interesting.....

    Just happy its not Cintron-Gatti
That would be a great undercard for Feb PPV

The bad hand excuse was just damage control. He got his ass kicked plain and simple. And by an overrated fighter like Margarito. Since than he's struggled against Estrada and took shots against Suarez. He's a "champion" only cuz his title was stupidly stripped from Baldomir and than vacated by Mayweather. I'm not sold Cintron at all.

Pretty much agree with ya on that.

I aint too sure about the guy meself...but he is fun to watch. I rate him as a step up from Gatti...just with less losses.

    Damn...that was cold.

Personally...I view Manny about like you view Baldo = OVERRATTED!!!

If a fighter has it...he's got it...a trainer only polishes off the talent.

Losing to Margarito was just an explanation point on the problems. He concentrates on power & when that fails...he bails.

I aint big on Margarito...so that pretty much closes the book on Cintron for me.

...and NO Margarito won't beat Floyd if they ever fight.

Agreed in full. Just before the fight...all talk was on how easily Margarito would be taken down...lose the fight & out comes the hand excuse. Had he had a history of brittle hands...I might have bought that shit...but come the fwock on...say you lost & be done with it.

I basically agree with you about a fighters trainer, however I think it's different when a fighter has had one trainer from a young age and for his entire career.. It's when you get these fighters suddenly switching to a big name trainer, and people expect them to be so much better by next month.. No trainer can make a fighter more than he's capable of or willing to do.. Your dead on in that sense, but I wouldn't call Emanuel overrated as he has trained many champions from a young age and the amatuers.

I'm struggling to stop smirking every time someone says his first name. A fighter called Kermit, you cannot be serious (!).

I can't wait for him to meet his nemesis - Fozzie Bear Jones.

Still - just like A Boy Named Sue - I bet he had to fight like fuck all the way through his childhood?
