Yep. So why didn’t he take it? He had the rematch clause.
Everything has been proved already. Sure, Canelo can pick off some low hanging fruit at LHW, but came short at the top level.
No disgrace in that. Stick to SMW.

after the ggg fight canelo is said to have had surgery, i thought the plan was always to have a lesser fight in may with the dmitry rematch possibly in september. if everything's already been proved then it would definitely be a challenge to take the fight again. it's not a disgrace to lose to dmitry. i agree canelo should stick to super middle

I'm all for Canelo to go after Bivol again. He should go for it.

would you give canelo credit for taking the challenge again?

I would. But I can’t see it happening. And I would prefer Bivol v Beterbiev before it’s too late , if it’s not already too late.
“IF” Benavidez beats Plant at the weekend (and I hope he doesn’t) I would much rather see Benavidez v Canelo.

Gvozdyk at it again. Didn't realize he was still going on with the comeback.

Without diva clauses and demands? Sure, why not.

After all it would represent an about face from Ginger's M.O. through the entirety of his career.

did you consider dmitry a challenge the first time?
