You said I didn't warn you about Machado... so I'll warn you about Berlanga.

He's a facade. Personally I hope he loses to Quigley, so he doesn't get to fight Canelo.

I have checked his record and quotes. He wants to be the greatest boxer from Puerto Rico and has convinced me he is sincere. I believe in him (for this fight at least) as Eddie would not throw him in the deep end with their first outing together.

Joshua Franco SD, Edgar Berlanga KO5, Erickson Lubin UD, Fernando David Martinez KO11, Carlos Adames KO12
Ioka has been showing cracks in recent times
I’m half expecting Berlanga to end it 1
Good to see Lubin back in the ring
I think the Martinez pressure will be too much
I'm not sold on Adames, I just think Williams has a lot of miles on the clock

joshua franco came in at one twenty two point seven for his first attempt to make one fifteen. he only got down to one twenty two & a quarter. fight is still on but the wba superfly weight belt is only on the line for kazuto

That is a huge weight difference. Franco's trainer was quoted as saying it was a "very tough training camp," but has any other explanation been given? Does Franco have a history of missing weight?

it's massive, he came in at super bantamweight for a super flyweight fight. i don't think he has missed weight before but there was an excuse that they thought the fight wasn't going to happen up to two days before the weigh in
