It’s almost like Boxers (or maybe their management teams) test how far they can take the piss. And then go further!
This is no different to GGG v Brook. Yes we gave props to Brook for his balls, same as we probably will for Charlo. But it doesn’t make it right. I don’t know loads about Charlo, but I hope he fucking wins!
And like I keep saying , it’s down to
    1. the governing bodies allowing it to happen and
    2. The public for accepting it. Note I didn’t say fans, because fans are so fucking irrelevant.
“Undisputed v Undisputed “ ! Lame as fuck.
What next ? Fury v Inoue - “Undefeated v Undefeated!”

this fight is very different from ggg v kell. had ggg ever fought at welter? was kell undisputed at welter? errol brought mikey up. antiono brought bernard up. this is nothing new. the networks & promoters also have a hand in these fights. the public is not forced to watch or buy it, although i do think this fight will do well. this fight is undisputed v undisputed. you might think it's lame, doesn't make it not undisputed v undisputed though. tyson v naoya undefeated v undefeated is a false equivalence. like titofan likes to say. apples & oranges

The fact that Canelo fought at LMW a gazillion years ago is completely irrelevant and it is laughable that you are trying to make it relevant. If it means anything , then let’s have the fight at LMW! Or maybe a “Catchweight at MW.
brought mikey up. antiono brought bernard up. this is nothing new.it doesn’t make it right.
the networks & promoters also have a hand in these fights. the public is not forced to watch or buy it, although i do think this fight will do well. The fight probably “will do well,” because punters are basically mugs. Doesn’t mean it’s the fight that should be happening. You can come back with “Boxing is a business”, but first and foremost, Boxing is a Sport.
this fight is undisputed v undisputed. you might think it's lame, doesn't make it not undisputed v undisputed though. tyson v naoya undefeated v undefeated is a false equivalence. no it isn’t . It’s putting out a USP Marketing Slogan to sell a fight that shouldn’t be happening. Why are there weight divisions in Boxing? like titofan likes to say. apples & oranges.

that wasn't my point. jermall was being talked about as canelo's opponent for september as the first fight of his deal with pbc. i prefer canelo fighting jermell over jermall. if you're asking who i'd ideally prefer to see canelo fight next it would have been the rematch with dmitry at one seventy five as planned. if you're asking who i'd have liked canelo to fight next at super middle, i would prefer david m over david b. hopefully david b stops running from david m now & they can fight next, putting the winner in line for a canelo fight

jermall was being talked about as canelo's opponent for september as the first fight of his deal with pbc. i prefer canelo fighting jermell over jermall. if you're asking who i'd ideally prefer to see canelo fight next . Yes that’s exactly what I’m asking.

it would have been the rematch with dmitry at one seventy five as planned. Ok, fair enough, but if he wants to fight at 175, give up the belts at 168.
if you're asking who i'd have liked canelo to fight next at super middle, i would prefer david m over david b. hopefully david b stops running from david m - Ok , so Benavidez is running from a pro with 9 fights, but Canelo isn’t running from Benavidez?
now & they can fight next, putting the winner in line for a canelo fight. Well like I said, Benavidez can fight Morello for all the belts that Canelo gives up because he’s fighting Bivol at 175. That’s Ok isn’t it?

you didn't say that was my point but you replied to my point about jermell over jermall, talking about another topic discussion. i'm not sure canelo is ready to make a complete move to light heavyweight yet. the plan was john ryder & then the dmirty rematch at one seventy five. dmitry wasn't happy with the terms so canelo moved on. i preferred the dimitry rematch at one seventy five, canelo preferred to stay at one sixty eight to fight jermall, who apparently wasn't going to be available, so i guess jermell stepped in. david b's manager said the fight with david m was signed, canelo & david b haven't had a claim of a signed contract. david b can fight for david m's wba world super middleweight belt & the winner puts themselves in line for a canelo fight. dmitry wasn't happy with the terms for a rematch at one seventy five so canelo has moved on. you'd have to ask uncle al & team canelo why they didn't give david b the first shot at canelo in his pbc deal, i could speculate that they want to build it into a mega event for canelo's second or third fight in the deal

“Not ready to make a complete move to LHW!” So when will he “be ready”? Don’t worry, I’ll answer, NEVER.
Be honest ffs. The cunt is 5 foot 8” tops. He’s not a LHW, He’s not really a SMW tbf, but he gets away with it because he eats a lot of Mexican Beef.
He dipped his toes in the LHW division picking off a winnable title (he’d already done that with Rocky Fielding in the SMW Division) then his team misjudged and underestimated Bivol and paid the price with a reality check.
Fuck me, talk about the tail wagging the dog. We gotta wait for Canelo to “be ready” , and in the meantime let him pick off a lightweight or make a CW boil down.

you'd have to ask team canelo if he'll ever be ready to fight permantly at light heavy. i agree canelo is not a light heavyweight. i think canelo has shown his best at super middle. canelo did dip his toes in the light heavyweight division, knocking out sergei who adonis, artur & dmitry never fought (canelo did go back to unify one sixty eight & become undisputed) then he challenged himself against one of the best in the division above against dmitry. you said yourself that canelo is not a light heavyweight, so he may never be ready to permantly move up or he may try towards his final few fights to capture belts at higher weights. what lightweight is canelo going to pick off in the meantime? badou wasn't happy with the suggested weight so canelo moved on, that fight was never going to happen in september. canelo is fighting jermell in september & i think jermell is not being given the respect he deserves. many other fighters have jumped two weights successfully & many others have had success moving up in weights

You say Jermell is not being given the respect he deserves, but you said you prefer his lighter brother over him? 🤷
