leigh was given the opportunity the recover after his first round knockdown against michael conlan at the bell. josh wasn't given the same opportunity. the ref didn't even turn josh around to check his eyes or anything to see if he wanted to continue

The ref should not have to turn Josh Warrington around, he should do it himself. Josh should know he has to convince the ref that he is fit to continue to fight. He has only himself to blame.

I swear - The ref should have his license revoked.

A minute is a long time to recover, especially with Warrington's conditioning. If the roles were reversed Wood would have been given the minute. There are too many British refs that will step in and stop the fight when the 'favored' fighter throws a few combinations. The system is rotten and corrupt.

Warrington got the British treatment and he is a Brit!!

That could've been an even better British domestic dust up, perhaps even a classic, but the ref robbed us of that opportunity. The only ref worse than Micheal Alexander is Ian John Lewis, he is the worst "wefewee" eva

Leah Wood: "Wait, The Monster is coming up to 126 next year for my belts? Hearn get me the fk out this division!"

    Hearn: "Done"

Tell you what finally watching this full and ending and there's a little case for fookery. You're down clean but bell has sounded. Round was over. He gets up, maybe a little too quick tbh and 9 outta 10 times the ref gives a fighter the benefit of stool and minute to recover. He made it there on his own. Why deny him that, ref never ordered him around or pressed to evaluate him. Very well could have been his back bring turned entire time. Really wonder if both fighter and ref knew round was over.

It was a FOTY contender and there should be a rematch but I do not think Josh can win because it will be at the higher weight.

Wood is an amazing fighter and since he became champion he has been in some tough hard contests. Knocking out Conlon in the last round was "Rocky" like and his story is amazing. Carl Froch asked Eddie to put him on his undercard when he was fighting to help Wood out. Now look at where Leigh is, there is a movie there to be made about his life.
