Keep your right elbow closer to your side, the right hand punch is too wide
Hi guys, just uploading an update since last time I commented. For reference, I'm around 8 months in since I got into boxing with zero experience.
I've been trying to put in the rounds and to work on better transferring weight, finding angles and snapping my punches etc., but to be honest I don't feel like I've made that much progress since last time I posted. I still feel like I'm rigid like a surfboard and most punches don't really carry much gunpowder. I've started doing shadowboxing every week, so hopefully that'll help with that.
I also think the footwork could improve by a long while. My cardio is a bit better nowadays although I was pretty tired when I filmed this, so not peak form either, but won't use that as an excuse.
Any feedback, as usual, would be much appreciated!

Nice hooks and head movement.
Work on your footwork, technique and straight punches.
Always be balanced when throwing punches to get full power.
Still slapping the punches, twist and tense on impact.
Straight punches are harder to throw but more efficient. Practice on those more.
Good effort and keep training to work on Cardio.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Thank you, sir. Whenever I remember to be perpendicular with respect to the target, the cross gets much more effective and seems easier to snap it. Need to twist more for sure!

no i think you're right about wide stances. specifically, the wider your stance the more your weight becomes spread out across each leg. when you transfer weight your weight has to become concentrated on only one leg. when you transfer weight you are essentially only standing on one leg. why would you want to spread out your weight evenly across each leg when you are ultimately trying to only stand on one leg? one spreads out your weight and one concentrates your weight. thats why you can't do both. because they both cancel each other out.
