Cheating twat. Suliman now wrapping his "everyone is a victim" hug and excuse on him now. Top guys sit out for a year plus so no effect there. And he tossed more $ at the missing weight than he did actual ped suspension. Again, they all factor the penalties in now. And the alphabet boyz abide. Short-bus will social media troll for 10 months and come back as a Jr middle. Bank it.
This, and what you said about Ginger fighting Berlanga as part of his "Riding Off Into The Sunset" tour, seem like they might be pretty accurate.
I wouldn't suggest you get into the fortune telling business yet... but if this one pans out... I would definitely start looking in Amazon for crystal balls.
His mother should have let him be a fighter and earn it, in retrospect. Making him a social media 'celebrity' before he had 10 fights made him some money, a big chunk of which will go to child support cause he has a bunch of them. And it made him a pathetic, attention seeking buffoon. If he doesn't have boxing as a vehicle to make a spectacle of himself, I shudder to think of what he might do next.
Does make you wonder a bit where he fits as far as the new norm in young fighters. Used to be that ring success would grow/make the star and we'd see cases of fighters getting overwhelmed with it and spiraling down. Ryan pretty much put the cart before the horse as far as popularity and social media rise. Brought that into buys and sales, but hardly has the mentality and skill set of a tried true top tier champion. Unfortunately, there's a massive wave of newer fans who embraces cutting corners and the adolescent fuckery Ryan has proven to be all about.
there has always been fighters who are more popular than their actual success or performances as professionals deserves. panchito bojado was given a huge signing bonus & was being talked about as the next big thing, he didn't have the social media powerhouse that it is today at the time i don't think but jack paul is another recent guy who has a big following based on not much achieved in the pro ranks. it's nothing new. then you have deserving guys like finito lopez who no one even knows outside hardcore boxing heads
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
As far as social media influence and career design for Ryan, have to say it's fairly new hence the mention and popularity early for Ryan. Paul unfortunately another but credit to Ryan as he's slightly more serious with fights taken. Paul is a literal cartoon act. But Ryan is deluded now. It becomes an enabling crutch. Making Devin Haney fart jokes and ranting about screwing Caleb Plants wife are the biggest W's he'll have for the rest of the year. Rolly Romero is another bottom feeder that blew up more for social media saturation than actual ring accomplishments.
Panchito is more of the old school model of top Olympians riding the hype waves and just not panning out once on the world stage. Lots of threads on him https://www.saddoboxing.com/boxingfo...appened-2.html. The spiral down of early anointment of super stardom, top amateur success turned into busted hype-train for some young prospects/Olympians in boxing is decade olds. No social media as we know for Bojado but maybe a bit on his half attempt comeback with Golden boy. The Olympics had a great avenue before the SM blow up. The major networks and promotions had tunnel vision for "the next" superstars and "the next" superstars didn't have the 24/7 defection distractions at the fingertips. Ryan won't be the last sadly.

Devin Haney has announced his intention to take further legal action against Ryan Garcia.
Garcia floored Haney three times and beat him by unanimous decision on April 20, however this result has now been overturned.
The victor tested positive for banned PED ostarine in three separate drugs tests taken around the fight.
On Thursday, he agreed a settlement with the New York Commission over the situation.
Garcia has received a one-year ban from boxing as a result of this, with the Haney fight being overturned from a win to a no-contest.
Haney's undefeated 31-0 record has officially been restored, however he is not completely happy with the outcome.
Earlier this week, the WBC held a purse bids auction for Haney's potential next fight - an ordered mandatory defence against Sandor Martin.
Bob Arum's Top Rank were the only bidders and won with a bid of just $2.42million, meaning Haney will get $1.53million if he moves forward with this bout next.
That is a significant reduction from what he earned not only in the Garcia fight, but in several of his fights before it took place.
As a result, Haney is now arguing that his commercial value and potential future earnings have taken a dramatic hit as a direct result of Garcia's controversial overturned victory in their fight.
“My lawyers will do what they've gotta do to prove that in court against Ryan," Haney told Title Sports Network.
"We will take legal action because it has affected me - not only financially, but mentally and everything."
Haney also alleges that he has suffered mentally from the fallout.
Upon seeing these quotes, Garcia took to social media to attack Haney once again.
He tweeted on Friday night: "There is no damn way, no I’m being sued for hurting Devil Haney feelings. Softest man ever created this crazy don’t know Bill Haney's sperm was like this."
Haney replied: "We can settle out of court.. what u offering?"
Time will tell if the pair end up having a rematch in the ring or the courtroom.
