In the grand scheme of things it just feels like low hanging fruit. A man clearly on the verge of stuffing his ears with his breakfast oatmeal rambling out what is one of the most immediately irrefutable "lies" like some big gotcha moment. And pounce they did. I mean if we want to get technical, did you actually hear the context and complete statement that proceeded it? And the fact he then called it his endorsed position? He was speaking to and quoting the Feb immigration reform bill agreed on by both parties, the one he promised to sign. And the one that same Border patrol union did in fact endorse. The same bi partisan bill convicted felon #45 targeted and called for to fail as not to give "the other guys" a victory. That's a real lie as well. The fact he rails on failing boarders and "invasion" every day yet the first sign of progress in some regard with his party agreeing, he showed his true hand and stood opposed to it.
