Only thing I recall about this one was hearing how buggy it was on release but never played it. I've always been a sucker for open world games. Just on checking out the reviews it sounds a little like the old school classic Deus Ex series

I played the original Deus X and was blown away at the time. I know it wasn't open world but Max Payne for it's time had hell of an atmosphere and great dark storytelling.
