Truthfully, we fucking deserve it.

there is only a small percentage of real hardcore fans that support boxing at all levels. take your jake catterall example, the thread only has twenty three replies, the tim tszyu v bakhram murtazaliev thread only got twenty four & then tim gets shat on for taking on an unbeaten champion. there are at least a dozen good quality fights between now & the end of the year but most won't get much interest & replies

YUP

The fights people REALLY want to see, they have to let it "marinate". Floyd with his PAC fight "marinated" boxing to the max.

The marination of boxing has really fked up the fights ppl want to see

But to be fair it's not all Floyd's fault (far from it) the explosion of multi soup titles eg Super, Interim, Silver, Regular WBA Middleweight champ has not helped. Turki has shaken boxing up a bit for the good. But even Turki has not managed to get the 3 biggest draws in boxing (Inoue, Canelo and Tank) to fight on his shows

turki has done well to get some of these fights done that wouldn't have without the saudi's funding, artur v dmitry & oscar collazo v thammanoon niyomtrong are two that come to mind. not everything he's been involved with can be applauded, as some of the fights on his cards have been ones no one wanted to see

it seems like a really good sponsorship for team naoya. i don't think he is required to fight over there, although he may, just appearances & promotions

Frank Warren will join DAZN in April 2025 and leave TNT Sport. Do not know what this will mean for boxing fans.
