Wow, I also think the floods in Spain deserve a mention. The videos I've seen from Valencia are unreal. Cars floating down the street like so many toy cars, and getting piled up in huge bunches. I think around 50-some deaths also.

Valencia certainly have had it hard. The floods have been horrific and they are prone to heatwaves.

Yep saw that this morning. Talking late next week and more “wait and see” and here we are in November ffs. I’m tired man. Just done with miserable weather always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Not to mention we’re still in the high 80’s approaching Holidays. Need these cold front to step it up and help the sheer to tear up anything trying to form. So, we wait yet again. I just want some breezy nights and a crackling pit fire right now. Man don’t ask for much. But as with Spain it can def be so much worse. It can always always be worse weather wise. Stay safe. Head on a swivel.

I almost wish we DID have a giant joystick somewhere with which we could steer hurricanes into the middle of the Atlantic and cackle away as they withered away in the frigid waters.

Rafael? My brother-in-law, maybe... but not our boss. That would be Pedro, at least until later tonight, when unfortunately it'll be Jennifer.

Jennifer hasn't been used in a while, so who knows, might be resurrected as a future storm name.

Jennifer . Watch out now. I had an ex named Jennifer who once on a rainy 1am night under a full moon tried to stab me with a sharpened butterknife. There may or may not have been blotter involved.

This current hurricane is clearly drunk. From a 1 to 3 and set to just meander.
