Don’t want to sound smug, but went pretty much as I expected it to. Canelo deserves respect for clearly dominating a division (bar one obvious duck) that I don’t think is ideal for him, but he is no ATG. Alarming how few answers he had to closing Crawford down, especially when Crawford was fighting Southpaw.
A good Boxer usually comes out on top against a fighter.
And like I said before, for me, this doesn’t put Bud as an ATG either, simply because he hasn’t done enough through his career, and this one result albeit excellent doesn’t make up for that.
It’s a shame Bud wasted the best part of his career through bad promotional decisions and inactivity. He certainly has the talent to maybe be up there. Too late now, but massive congrats to him.
