Delahoya is a control freak. Now it seems like Hopkins is trying to teach him how to play mind games b4 the fight.

Oscar is doing what he needs to do to win and to be honest,it's not the size of the gloves I'm interested in,it's the size of the ring. PBF and Oscar have Reyes but if PBF has the same size ring as the Baldo fight,he'll win.....Is it possible to get a bigger ring than that?!

I absolutely agree with the fact that the winner of this fight will be based on the size of the ring. If Oscar can get an 18 ft ring (20 max) then he will have an easier time of cutting the ring off. Oscar has to make floyd fight and not let him get off a quick combo and move out of the way. It has been a while since somebody has made Floyd fight, so if Oscar can put Floyd in a situation to where he has to fight then that will increase the odds of Oscar winning. Cant tell right now on who will win, everybody will have a better idea when we find out what size of ring it will be.

Hopefully this will be a good fight. I had no respect for ODH until the Mosley fight. To me even though he lost, that is where he became a great fighter. Hopefully this will be the career defining fight for PBF. I personally think he is in trouble, and that he doesn't have the power to hurt ODH. ODH definitely does have enough to hurt Floyd, so I see it like when ODH fought Hopkins... It was just a matter of time. ODH is gonna put a hurtin on PBF if it's a fight. However, this could be what finally makes PBF a superstar. An exciting fight win or lose and it could turn into a trilogy.
But even before then he had fought GREAT fighters....Chavez (albeit an old one) and Whittaker.

Oscar tested himself vs the best out there.....where is Floyd's Pernell Whittaker
I am not a fan of PBF. I do recognize his skill, and think he's quite possibly the best out there right now, but I think he made a mistake moving up this high and he's gonna lose. Not a big Oscar fan either, but I hated him before Mosley, now I respect him and think he's a good fighter. Many people will claim that Zab was the big fight for PBF, but obviously that is a huge stretch. Zab is and was highly overrated in my opinion. Always being judged on "potential". Reminds me of Benoint Benjamin, one of many "potentials" that wasted their physical talent with a poor work ethic.

I'm aware that Reyes is classified as a punchers glove. I believe Gatti stayed with Reyes even with his brittle hands. I doubt it will be a determining factor in the fight.

Im more interested in what size ring is being used for the fight.

    Gatti wore Everlast.

I agree about ring size being more important than the gloves. If it's a small ring...Floyd will be in trouble.

So why is Mayweather a punk for having to do the same?
Clearly he only wants Floyd to wear "punchers' gloves" because he's hoping Floyd will injure his hands and then he won't have to deal with a 100% Floyd.
wudnt shock me if oscar has some sort of a deal with them, and by doing this benefits somehow

IMO, the only punk here is ODH for basically stipulating a handycap into the contract. Clearly he only wants Floyd to wear "punchers' gloves" because he's hoping Floyd will injure his hands and then he won't have to deal with a 100% Floyd. It would be one thing if ODH just wanted to be allowed to wear Reyes himself, but it's bullshit to include in the contract provisions concerning what gloves your opponent can wear--and it indicates that the person forcing in this provision isn't confident he can win on skill alone.
that's complete bullshit because DLH isn't forcing Mayweather to wear them, PBF could wear his everlasts or his usual Winnings gloves while DLH will definately use Reyes, he just made the REQUEST NOT THE DEMAND, Mayweather on his own free will agreed, don't see how that makes DLH a punk

I'm 100% sure Carlos "THE CHAMPION" Baldomir didn't want a 5,000 square foot ring when fighting Floyd "THE CHALLENGER" Mayweather Jr either

Boxing is a rough sport if Floyd's as great as he talks about being all the fucking time he'll win anyways....quit the bitching
