Ivan Drago kills Rocky's best friend in the ring throws the ref out of the way and then give's a corny a** interview to the public stating "if he dies he dies". Rocky then goes to the Soviet Union and defeats him on his own turf, how can this not be the best one, how can Clubber Lang be a better Villian than Drago who was hitting with thousand's of pounds of pressure in one of the most technical boxing gyms ever to be seen by man. Four also had better special effects than any of the others as well as a great soundtrack that was played throughout the movie, they even had the drama scenes such as Rocky driving in his Ferrari catching flashbacks of him an appollo having fun while listening too "There's no easy way out" you guy's are crazy.
I read this post twice and am still not sure if you are taking the piss or not :P
In all honesty I do think 4 was the most entertaining but the most unrealistic. Nevertheless it was a good movie, but Rocky 1 was the foundation. Ivan Drago was the best Rocky villian and I am serious about that.
Creed was the best by a mile because he was a real character. Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago were just cheap cardboard charicatures with no substance to them whatsoever.

Its entertaining if your'e about 12 and think that Terminator 2 is the greatest film ever but Rocky 1 was an oscar worthy film with complex, multidimensional characters and a gritty realistic film.

Rocky 4 is more like an extended MTV video, great for working out to but not a film to sit down and watch.
