What is your favorite Rocky movie and why?

hmm.. Rocky 1 by a long shot, as other people have said, the others just dont have the grit and realism of the #1, the only other one which comes close for me is #5, i dont know why but i love #5 too even though people hate it.

Bilbo dont start talking about Terminator 2 ! (it rocks)

I never understood the popularity of T2. I mean the first one was a sci fi classic, hard hitting, gritty, adult. The second one they completely and utterly ruined by turning him in to some kind of babysitter to some annoying Home Alone style kid.

F****** hated that movie, just complete American mainstream tacky S***.

T3 was suprisingly good though, at least the kid was now grown up.

i didnt like t3 as much i remember the ending being depressing didnt like it at all

Loved Terminator, really liked T2, & then thought T3 was fantastic...just because I really REALLY dig the S*** outta the whole John Connor resistance force vs Skynet deal.

Hope that they make a T4 about the resistance & Judgement Day blast.

Still think that the original T-800 Terminator Endoskeleton is one of the most awesome visually crazy villians to grace the screen.

The first Rocky film is clearly the best. The script is very character driven and not boring in the way character driven movies can be. There was a lightness of touch in the writing and that lightness made you care about the characters, and more importantly, believe them....its a great flick.

Rocky 4 is an entertaining flick but it is the worst Rocky film...Rocky 5 tries to return to the roots, but its writing is sorely lacking....

Im intrigued by this new film....it might be pretty decent...
