    Iremeber the fight as Marquez schooling Pac after the 1st but on rewatching it I think Pac came back into it abit in the 10th cuz Marquez got lazy .

    In the 1st round JMM was caught cold . The 1st two knockdowns werent too bad but after the third he straightened his body and lay back down. It looked like he accpeted defeat. Pac looked good in the second too but after that he was running out of ideas. Marquez sweeped the next 7 rounds on my card , just plain outboxing his 1 dimensionla opponent . Got lazy in the 10th but closed the show with two big rounds . 3 rounds doesnt sound like a convincing win but in my eyes he was a clear winner . Cant believe 1 judge gave it to Pac . I thought there would be uproar but Marquez can blame himself for not following up when he hurt Pac with right hands .

    But while I'm here, does anyone have any links to Tarver-Jones I?
    I've been wanting to score that fight here for a while, but I can't find it anywhere.
    I've checked youtube, submitted a request here for it... nothing.
    If anyone can find the fight somewhere, let me know.

    Roy won that fight the way I saw it. All Tarver did was try the last 30 seconds with flurries and then celebrate and stuff at the end of the last round(a round he lost by the way)

    ....also can you upload fights on this site?cause i have heaps of old fights on dvd but dont know if you can upload,cause that way everyone can watch the fight and score it right here on saddoboxing?

    Sorry the fights haven't been updated as often, been busy. But now I've got 3 or 4 fights scored and ready to go, so there'll be one every few days again now.

    December 4, 1999. Fernando Vargas (17-0, 17 KO) vs. Ronald "Winky" Wright (39-2, 24 KO) for Vargas' IBF Light Middleweight Title.
    Vargas won by Majority Decision, by scores of 116-112, 115-113, 114-114.

    Also had it a draw. My card mirrors yours, but I gave Vargas round 3 and Winky round 11.

    I can't see how anybody would score it anything other than for Winky?

    Can't remember my exact round scores, but gave it to Wright by about 4 rounds

    Sorry people...I came in late...but I have this fight.

    Not sure what the question exactly was...thought it was a scoring issue.

    Anywho...sorry for butting in with half assed info...but here's me take.

    The scores were bullshit & HBO was pushing to market Vargas (Vegas White Tiger & all) & not Wright...totally the wrong decision.

    I hate this fight because Wright did win the match...fan of his or not...right is right & wrong is wrong.

    Total Punch Stats
    Wright : 34%
    Vargas : 35%

    Power punches
    Vargas: 39%
    Wright: 37%

    The judges had it at 116-112, 115-113, & then 114-114...which I could have lived with.


    Total bullshit...sorry...but it was. I'm a huge supporter of compu-box...but anyone that saw the match can say that Vargas was outmatched & Wright was on point. Should have been a draw at the least. Sorry but Wright won the match. Merchant was all over Vargas's jock from start to finish.

    Wright was not an HBO fighter at the time & Vargas was being groomed. This is very similar to the Taylor Syndrome.

    Sorry peeps...I'm being unbiased whether or not you want to think so...Wright won.

    wacko im sorry if i missed something but that shows vargas landed higher percentage so how does that prove wright won ?? sorry if i missed something just never seen fight
